Tilidin is a narcotic from the group of active ingredients of low-potency opioids and is used as a pain reliever for severe and very severe pain. Tilidin is often used together with naloxone to counteract the potential for abuse.

Tilidin is used to treat severe and very severe pain, usually in combination with the opioid receptor antagonist naloxone (to prevent possible misuse of tilidin).
